Auto-login Password Prompt
The 9160 G2 compares the text in this textbox to the text presented to it by the host. When
they match, the 9160 G2 assumes that the host has just sent its request for a password, and it
sends the password specified in the Auto-Login Password parameter to the host. The charac-
ters can be any ASCII string, with a maximum of 32 characters. The default text is word:

they match, the 9160 G2 assumes that the host has just sent a string informing the mobile
computer of a failed login attempt. The 9160 G2 then presents the Auto-telnet Terminal
Prompt on the mobile computers screen to request the user to login manually. The charac-
ters can be any ASCII string, with a maximum of 32 characters. The default text is
incorrect.
Note: The match string should be as short as possible, yet long enough to uniquely identify
the failed-login prompt. Do not include multi-part words separated by space charac-
ters, since some hosts send out characters other than space characters to present a
space on the screen.
Auto-telnet Without User Action
If this is enabled, the controller will immediately open a connection to the host for each
mobile computer that is initialized, without the user pressing the [ENTER] key. It is recom-
mended that if this is selected, the Auto Telnet Terminal Prompt is changed so that the user is
advised to stand by while the connection made.
