To manually restore a profile:
• Choose
Restore Selected Profile from the dropdown menu, and select the Profile
Name
displayed in the drop down box.
Note: You can also manually restore an auto restore profile located in flash or a
storage device.
5.9 APN Manager Settings
The APN Settings Manager icon in the Control Panel is used to set up APN (Access Point
Name) settings for units equipped with GSM/GPRS radios.
Important: Typically, APN setup information is automatically configured for
you. The
APN Manager Settings icon is only necessary if automatic
setup fails.
5.9.1 Automatic GSM Setup – Connecting To The Network
When you initially attempt to connect to a network using a GSM radio, a dialogue
box is displayed asking if you would like your GSM automatically configured.
1. Choose
Yes to initiate automatic configuration.
2. In the
Start Menu, choose Settings>Network... and in the connec-
tion window, double-tap on the
GPRS icon that has been set up for you.
3. In the
Dial-Up dialogue box, tap on the <Connect> button.
